Instagram’s update requires you to disable the Flag for Review feature to receive followers directly
Effective August 18, 2024, Instagram’s latest update requires you to disable the “Flag for Review” feature in order to receive followers directly. If this setting remains enabled, all followers will arrive as requests, and you will need to manually approve each one.
